Stanke, Donna  (14 JUNE 1948)

With a garland of white lilies as her flowers, Donna Mae Stanke, daughter of the Fred Stankes, 2113 S. 59th Street, West Allis, Wis., became the bride, on June 11th, of Roman F. Gotter. His parents are Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Gotter of Loyal.

The Rev. Martin Mencke read the ceremony at 4 P.M. at the Gospel Lutheran Church.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. She chose a gown of white satin and a fingertip veil.

Laurine Fuchs, her bridesmaid and Ruth Jens, maid of honor wore whit marquisette gowns with hoop skirts and carried colonial bouquets of roses, snapdragons and sweet peas.

Donald Lautenbach, best man, and Arthur Stanke attended the groom. Hugo Lautenbach served as usher.

A 7 o’clock wedding dinner was served at the Underwood Hotel that evening, followed by a reception at Stanton's Hall.

The newlyweds spent their honeymoon in northern Wisconsin, and at the home of the groom’s parents in Loyal. At present they are making their home with the bride’s parents.
