Mrs. Eugene Crandall has been ill with the measles.

 

Mrs. E.A. Beeckler will entertain the Circle next Wednesday, Aug. 20.

 

Mrs. Chas. Lowe and daughter arrived Saturday for a visit with her mother, Mrs. Lockham, and brother, Emil.

 

Gladys Wage is home from Superior where she has been attending summer school.

 

Earl Pickett and wife spent Sunday at the E.A. Beechler home.  She will stay until Thursday, when she will return home accompanied by her sister, Pearl.

 

Ben Beeckler expects to start Wednesday for Montana and points in Canada by motorcycle.

 

Hm. Schoengarth and wife are chaperoning a crowd of young people who are camping in H. Downer’s sugar bush.  Among them are Miss Moore of Eau Claire and Miss Eberhardt of Camp Douglas.

 

Mrs. Minnie Hornbeck of Sharon and daughter, Mrs. Agin, of Palmyra are visiting friends here.

 

Mrs. Henry Williams is spending the week at Neillsville.

 

Harold Kihn returned to his home at Park Falls Wednesday.  His sister, Birdine, went as far as Marshfield with him.
