Sunshine Corners (December 1929)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ed Kroll entertained the Card Club, Friday evening.  High prizes were won by Mrs. Oscar Northup and Aug. Poziombka, and low prizes went to Miss Grace Schoenherr and Franklin Reindel.

 

Mrs. Nellie Snyder spent a few days last week at Greenwood with her daughter, Mrs. W. Hartson.

 

E. A. Gault, who has been spending the past two weeks at the Ed Gault’s returned home, Sunday.

 

Percy Northup is sick with the grippe.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Gault and children and Harold Gault visited at Warren’s, Sunday.

 

Ed Kroll and family spent Thanksgiving Day at the Schoenherr home in Globe; the Plummer and Northup families at Wm. Hurlburt’s and the Hoesly family at M. Hoesly’s Sr.

 

Rob’t Pedder, our local cigar maker, was at Arcadia a couple of days last week.

 

John Kelly and John Krejci families were dinner guests at Mrs. Maggie Kelly’s, Thanksgiving Day.

 

Little Elmer Hoesly spent the Thanksgiving vacation with his grandparents Resong.

 

Help! Help!

 

Are you interested in the other fellow’s "doin’s"?  He may be interested in yours also, but how will he know you are still in the Land o’ the Livin’ if you don’t send your news to the Sunshine Corners correspondent?  Co-operation Please; if you wish to keep this part of the county on the map.  If you haven’t any news run off with some other man’s wife or shoot your husband, because we just "gotta have news."
