Maier, John and Helen (Reunion - 24 July 2010)
Of the 143 descendants of John and Helen Maier, 59 braved the rain clouds of Saturday, July 24 and made the trek to Thorp’s Yellowstone Trail Park for the annual reunion.
A separate table was displayed showing the names of the deceased family members as well as photographs and information regarding the boyhood home in Germany of John Maier Sr. As well as those who reside in the Thorp area, several traveled from Milwaukee and Fox River Valley areas. Four family members came from Hayden, Idaho. It was a great time for cousins to meet cousins and make new memories. Next year’s host will be the children of the Ed and Margie Maier family.
