Kohring, Caroline (22 APR 1950)

The marriage of Caroline Kohring of the town of Grover, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James F. Andree of Roselle, Ill., and Kenneth Duell of Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), was solemnized on Saturday afternoon, Apr. 22, 1950, at the home of the Rev. Carl Grathkob of Medford.

Attendants were Mr. and Mrs. James Andree of Richter Lake.

For the occasion the bride chose a light gray suit, with white accessories.  Her corsage was of white rose buds.  Mrs. Andree wore a dress and accessories of grey, with a corsage of white carnations.

Miss Mildred DeBoer of Medford sang "Because" and "Father, Shepherd, Lead Us."

After the ceremony, a dinner was served to 20 guests at the Richter Lake resort.  Among the guests were the bride’s parents; the groom’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Duell, and Pat Duell of Loyal, and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Smith and Brian Speich of Greenwood.

The bride is a graduate of Morton High School in Cicero, Ill., and at present operates a resort at Richter Lake.  The groom, a trucker, attended the Sunnyside School in the town of Beaver.

The bridal couple took a week’s honeymoon and are making their home at Richter Lake.

To the newlyweds, the Loyal Tribune extends its wishes for a long and happy married life.
