Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Rohde home.

Out of town guests attending the wedding were: Mr. and Mrs. Harry Nibbe, Mrs. Genevieve Hardan and twins, and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Nibbe of Red Wing, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Vern Hart and family of Ellsworth;  Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Oligney of Alma Center; Mr. and Mrs. John H. To the newlyweds, the Loyal Tribune extends its wishes for a long and happy married life.
