Hales, Darlene A. #2 (7 NOV 1950)

Darlene Ann Hales, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M.G. Hales, was united in marriage to Donald Halpin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Halpin, at the Catholic Parsonage here at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7, 1950.  The Rev. Fr. Norbert King officiated.

Miss Hales wore a gray gabardine dressmaker suit, a winter white hat of brushed wool, and black accessories.  Her corsage was of dubonnet carnations.

Miss Donna Mae Gotter, wearing a beige gabardine suit, a hunter green brushed wool hat, brown accessories, and a corsage of yellow and bronze mums, served as the bride’s maid of honor.

Miss Nan Jean Hales was her sister’s bridesmaid.  She wore a rust gabardine suit, gold brushed wool hat, brown accessories, and a corsage of yellow and bronze mums.

The groom wore a suit of gray.  His attendants were Donald Bugar, who wore a brown suit, and Bill Halpin, his brother, who wore a gray suit.  All three wore gold ties.

A 7 o’clock dinner for the bridal party and immediate families was served at the bride’s home.

The groom is a graduate of the Loyal High School with the class of 1949.  Mr. and Mrs. Halpin left on Tuesday for Milwaukee, where he has employment.  They will be at home to friends at 1024 North Edison Street in that city.

The Loyal Tribune extends to the young couple its wishes for happiness.
