When Mr. and Mrs. William Weldon return from their honeymoon trip in southern Wisconsin, they will make their home with the groom’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Weldon, Abbotsford. The groom, a graduate of the Abbotsford high school, is employed at Hurd Millwork Corporation, Medford.
William Weldon and Miss Ellen Mae Kraus, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Kraus, Medford, were united in marriage Saturday in the rectory of St. John’s Catholic church, Wuerzburg. The Rev. Rudolph Urban officiated at the ceremony at 9:00 o’clock.
The bride wore a floor length dress of Chantilly lace over satin, fashioned with a lace bodice, Sabrina neckline, long sleeves, and a very full skirt with scalloped lace appliqués. A pearl crown secured her finger tip veil and she carried a shower bouquet of red roses and white carnations.
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Wendtland of Edgar, Miss Ramona Metz of Medford and Wayne ? of West Bend were the attendants.
The bridal aides wore floor length dresses of net, lace and taffeta with pleated ? at the waist and bolero jackets. Feathered head pieces with short veils and tinted and white carnations matched their dresses of cotillion blue and ? pink.
The bridal party and parents of the bridal couple were served a dinner at the Jerkwater dining room. The new Mr. and Mrs. Weldon greeted friends at a reception at the Little Pine Tree hall at Medford and at a wedding dance at Dorchester Memorial hall.
