Griffiths, George E. Mr. & Mrs. (50^th Anniv. - 24 Aug. 1960)

The Rev. and Mrs. George E. Griffiths celebrated their golden wedding anniversary at Madison Aug. 24.

Rev. Griffiths served the Presbyterian congregation here from Sept. 21, 1941 to Sept. 11, 1949.

He started his life in the ministry at the Chetek Presbyterian church and retired from the same church after serving 41 years in Northern Wisconsin. They now reside at 1118 Chandler st., in Madison.

The Rev. and Mrs. Griffiths have two daughters, Mrs. Norman Clayton of Madison and Mrs. Francis Lund of Minneapolis, and one son, Robert of Appleton. They have nine grand children.
