Neibacher, Douglas Jay (December 5, 1956 - September 6, 2010)

 

Douglas Jay Neibacher, age 53, of Owen, passed away on September 6, 2010, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.

 

His funeral service will be held on Friday, Sept. 10, 2010 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in the Town of Holway at 11 a.m. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Maurina Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford, and again on Friday at the church for one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in the Town of Holway.


Doug was born on December 5, 1956 to Orville and Doris (Annis) Neibacher in Stanley, Wis. He graduated from the Medford High School. He worked as a cook at Country Side Mug and Muffin and Meadowview Golf Course. He also hauled gas for Will's gas company. In his free time he enjoyed golfing and playing baseball.


He is lovingly survived by his mother, Doris Neibacher of Owen; his sister, Debra Loney of Nichols; nephew, Drew Loney of Atlanta, Ga., Aunt, Alice Annis of Owen; and uncles, Donald "Bud" Annis of Medford, Norman Annis of Toldeo, Ohio, and Floyd (Lois) Neibacher of Dorchester, Wis.


He is preceded in death by his father, Orville; a sister Denise Neibacher; grandparents; aunt, Barb Ham; and uncle, Wilbert Neibacher.
