Beaver, Dorothy (19 FEB 1949)

 

Miss Dorothy Beaver, daughter of Mrs. Alma Beaver, and Albert Degenhardt, were united in marriage at St. Anthony;s Catholic church here at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 19. Thy Rev. Fr. Aloys Zinthefer read the nuptial mass.

 

Given in marriage by her uncle, Matt Beaver, the bride was attired in a grey suit, with winter white accessories and a corsage of red and white carnations. The maid of honor was dressed in a grey suit, with white accessories, and the bridesmaid wore a dark tan suit, with pink accessories. Both of the bride’s attendants wore corsages of pink and white carnations.

 

A wedding breakfast was served at the home of the groom’s parents, and the dinner, supper and reception were held at the home of the bride’s mother.

 

Included among the out-of-town wedding guests were Mr. and Mrs. Paul Schmitt of Winona, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. Donald Degenhardt of Chicago, and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Guzman of Stevens Point.

 

The groom is a graduate of the Loyal high school with the class of 1942. He served with the United States armed forces during World War ll, about a year and a half of which was spent overseas. His bride has been employed at Normington’s laundry in Marshfield.

 

The newlyweds are spending their honeymoon in Milwaukee and other southern Wisconsin points, before taking up their residence at 6320 South Normal boulevard in Chicago.

 

The Loyal Tribune joins their many friends in wishing them a long and happy journey through life.
