Lindow, Mr. and Mrs. Charles (Golden - 19 May 1959)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lindow, former residents of the Town of Fremont now residing in Marshfield, observed their golden wedding at the Evangelical United Brethren Church at Chili, Saturday evening.

 

Lucinda Happe and Charles Lindow were married May 19, 1909, in Chili by the bride’s brother, Rev. E. A. Happe. Three of the four attendants at their wedding were present Saturday evening: Mrs. Edward Ott and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Lindow.

 

The couple have three daughters:  Mrs. Albert (Helen) Grimm, Chili; Miss Marian Lindow, Marshfield; and Mrs. George (Caroline) Fitz of Appleton; two grandchildren, Linda and Gary Fitz.

 

A program followed the supper, which was served by the Ladies Aid.  Rev. Melvin Rhoerdanz was the master of ceremonies.  Special songs were sung by Rev. E. S. Antrim and Mrs. Rudy Horn, Linda and Gary Fitz, Marlyn Lindow and Mrs. Fitz, Mrs. Albert Grimm and Miss Marian Lindow.

Happe, Adell; Rev. and Mrs. Melvin Rhoerdanz, Two Rivers; Mr. and Mrs. Ed Miller and family and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Klaetsch and son, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Klaetsch, Madison; Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Happe and Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Happe and family, Ripon; Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Horn and sons, Naperville,  Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. George Fitz and family, Appleton; Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Bandt and Mr. and Mrs. Lester Swenson and Miss Marian Lindow, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Wm. G. Lindow, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Lindow and sons, Mr. and Mrs. Marlyn Lindow and family, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Ott and family, Rev. and Mrs. E. S. Antrim and family, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Nebel, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Grimm and Miss Anna Grimm.

 

Open House was held at the E. U. B. Church Sunday in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Lindow, with many relatives and friends attending.
