Loferski, Stella #2 (5 MAY 1899 - 13 FEB 1956)
Funeral services were conducted by Father Francis Piekarski at 10:00 o’clock Thursday morning, Feb. 16th at St. Hedwig’s Chapel here for Mrs. John Loferski, 56, of the Town of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.). Mrs. Loferski passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital at Marshfield on Feb. 13th, 1956 of a heart ailment.
Stella Filipowicz was born in Thorp, Wis., on May 5, 1899.
She was united in marriage at Thorp on June 30, 1919 to John Loferski, who with one son, Roman, are left to mourn. Other surviving relatives are three brothers, Walter and Stanley Filipowicz of Thorp, and Tony Filipowicz of Seattle, Wash.; four sisters, Hattie Lukasieiwicz of Thorp, Anna Perzak, Frances Ciok and Julia Yulewicz of Gilman.
She was laid to rest in St. Hedwig’s new cemetery in Thorp. Pallbearers were John Orzechowski, Anton Kotecki Jr., L. Abramczuk, Andrew Strzok, Leo Andruskiewicz and Bruno Malinowski.
