Budrus, Wanda M. (29 March 1929 - 2 October 2010)

 

Wanda M. Budrus, age 81, Appleton, formerly of Lublin, WI passed away surrounded by her loving family on October 2, 2010.  She was born March 29, 1929, in Lublin, WI to the late Walter and Helen (Zakrzewicz) Tytor.  She and her husband owned Budrus Elevator in Lublin, WI and later moved to Appleton in 1989. She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church.  Wanda enjoyed sewing, crocheting, gardening and bookkeeping.  But most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was very proud of her great-granddaughter.

 

Wanda is survived by her husband, Edward of 57 years; her children: Wayne (Jeanie) Budrus, Huntington, WV; Lynn (Charles Kelsey) Westberg, Poolesville, MD; Randy (Rita Nordof) Budrus, Withee, WI and Doreen Budrus, Appleton; five grandchildren: Sarah and Stephanie Budrus; Charles and Walter Westberg and Amanda Kelsey; one great-granddaughter, Gianna Westberg; and a brother, Walter (Ann) Tyro, Springhill, FL.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Stella, Irene, Lottie and Mary; and Brothers: Edmund, Henry and Frank.

 

A Mass of Celebration for Wanda will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 7, 2010, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Appleton.  Interment will be in the Garden of Valor Section in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.  Friends may visit the family from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.  Visitation will also be Thursday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at the Church.  A memorial fund is being established.
