Kramer, Armella J. "Millie" (8 SEP 1934 - 16 OCT 2010)

 

WAUSAU -- Armella "Millie" J. Kramer, 76, of Wausau died Saturday, Oct. 16, 2010, at Aspirus Hospice House, Wausau.

 

She was born Sept. 8, 1934, in Loyal, daughter of Albert and Irene (Bauer) Froeba. She married Daniel Kramer on May 15, 1954, in Marshfield.

 

After raising her children, Armella worked at St. James. In 1980, the couple purchased Rib River Ballroom and continued to work hard up until their retirement in 2000.

 

Survivors include her five children, Jeffrey Kramer of Mosinee, John "Jack" (fiancé Sherry) Kramer of Marathon, Susan (fiancé David) Kramer of Nashville, Tenn., Sharon (Rich) Powers of Weston and Julie (Chuck) Wolf of Spencer; and seven grandchildren. She also is survived by one sister, Bernice (Bud) Ruter of Racine; and two brothers, Paul (Marie) Froeba of Beloit and Ed (Judy) Froeba of Wausau.

 

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ, 621 Second St., Wausau. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Wausau. Visitation will be from noon until the time of service at the church Thursday.

 

Brainard Funeral Home, Wausau, is assisting the family with arrangements.
