Kolstad, Alma Margaret (1 June 1884 - 29 February 1960)

 

Mrs. Emil Kolstad, 75, died at her home Monday evening.  She was taken to the hospital two weeks ago following a stroke, then returned home.

 

Alma Margaret Anderson was born June, 1884, in Romejo, Sweden.  She was married to Emil Kolstad in June, 1910.  After their marriage they lived for 10 years northeast of Greenwood and for 40 years on the present farm, 4 ½ miles northwest of Greenwood.

 

She is survived by her husband and three sons, Olaf Rosen, and Everett Kolstad of Sioux Falls, S. D., and Arthur Kolstad, at home.

 

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon from Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. The Rev. Ira Tanner officiated. Burial was made in the Greenwood Cemetery.

 

Pallbearers were: Godfrey Dyre, Louis Walde, Leonard Johnson, Joseph Boe, Clarence Verhulst and Adolph Abel.  Soloist was Mrs. Otto Voie accompanied by Mrs. Don Warner.
