World Prayer Service (4 March 1960)

 

Representatives from five churches of Greenwood, members of the World Day of Prayer committee, met Thursday evening at the home of Mrs. Lee Corey to complete plans for the service.

 

The World Day of prayer service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, at the Zion United Church, with the women’s guild of the Immanuel United Church as hostesses.

 

Attending the Thursday evening meeting were, Mrs. Walter Schwarze, Mr. E. H. Rotzloff, Mrs. Kenneth Worden, Mrs. Leon Kuester, Mrs. Arthur Christie, Mrs. Walter Swieso, Mrs. Richard Thompson, Mrs. Carl Turnquist, Mrs. Lee Corey, Mrs. Robert Schneider, Mrs. Herbert Horn, and Mrs. Quinton Irvine.
