Malinowski, Frank S. (21 October 1943 - 8 November 2010) With Flag

 

Frank S. Malinowski, Sr., age 67, of Sheldon, passed away on Monday, November 8, 2010, at his home in Sheldon.  A funeral was held on Friday, November 12, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at Nash-Jackan Funeral Home in Ladysmith, Wisconsin.  Deacon Doug Sorenson officiated and burial was at Mr. Nebo Cemetery in Jump River.

 

Frank was born on October 21, 1943, in Chicago, IL, to Louis and Rose (Lauer) Malinowski, and was a lifelong resident of Taylor County.  On March 9, 1968, he married Henny P. Meinhardt at the Thorp Catholic Church in Thorp, WI.  Henny passed away on February 7, 2005.

 

Frank’s passion was farming.  He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, and photography.  He was stationed in  the Army near Manheim, Germany.  This is where he met his wife, Henny.  They lived in Stanley, Thorp, Lublin, and Sheldon, WI.  He was employed at Presto for seven years, and then did what he knew and loved best, which was farming.  He was a very hard-working and loving man with a huge warm heart.

 

Frank was a proud supporter of the American Cancer Society and a member of the American Legion.

 

Survivors include sons: Donald L. Morris, Sheldon, WI, and Frank Malinowski, Jr., Hannibal, WI; daughters: Susan (Mike) Cynor, Sheldon, WI, Rose (Mark) Johnson, Eau Claire, WI, and Charmaine (Rusty)Taber, Ladysmith, WI; brother, Donald (Kathy) Malinowski, Thorp, WI; and 15 grandchildren.

 

He was preceded in death by his wife Henny, his parents and two brothers.
