Dumas, Margaret G. (4 MAR 1918 - 23 NOV 2010)

 

Margaret G. (Driscoll) Dumas, 92, entered eternal life Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2010, at Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield with her family by her side.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 29, 2010, at Faith Lutheran Church in Marshfield. The Rev. Tricia Turner will officiate. Burial will take place in the Hillside Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 28, at the Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home in Marshfield and on Monday at the church from 9 a.m. until time of services.

Margaret was born March 4, 1918, the daughter of Gustav and Milda (Plaul) Hahm in town of Lynn. She graduated from Granton High School in 1936. She retired from Rollohome as a clerical manager. Margaret was united in marriage to Harry Koppen. The couple later divorced. Margaret went on to marry Dale O. Driscoll. He preceded her in death. She later married Edward Dumas. He also preceded Margaret in death.

She was a member of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary, honorary member of the Alter Guild and a member of the Ladies' Aid both at Faith Lutheran Church in Marshfield. Margaret liked traveling, gardening, shopping and cooking. She enjoyed her Tuesday and Thursday coffee sessions with her friends.

Margaret is survived by four daughters, Janice (Guy) (nee Koppen) Brandl, Connie (Garry) (nee Koppen) Koehler, Jackie (Lee) (nee Driscoll) Nelson and Debbie Driscoll; stepchildren, James (Lorita) Driscoll, Sally (Jerry) Mueller, Colleen (Richard) DeJarlais, Patricia (Dennis) Schulhauser and Michael (Cheryl) Dumas; six grandchildren, Darcie (Bruce) Brandl Stauber, Cammie Brandl, Coy Koehler, Brady Nelson, Baylee Nelson and Tennli Driscoll; two great-grandchildren, Calvin and Kendall Stauber; and several step-grandchildren. She is further survived by nieces and nephews, as well as many other family and friends. She will truly be missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her three husbands, three sisters and one brother.

Those wishing to offer an expression of sympathy in Margaret's memory are encouraged to do so to the House of the Dove or Faith Lutheran Church.

The family would also like to offer a "Special Thank You" to Jan Hertel, who provided outstanding care these past years.
