Carol Jensen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Jensen of Rt. 1, Withee, and James E. Pekol, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Pekol, Sr. of Rt. 1, Willard, were married May 21, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Willard, in a double ring ceremony. The Rev. Aloysius Madic was in charge.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of frosted nylon organza with fitted bodice, square neckline, and a full-tiered skirt with crushed taffeta cummerbund which ended in a large bow in back.  She wore a fingertip veil.  Her bouquet was a cascade of pink roses and white stephanotis.

The maid of honor was Shirley Burmeister, a friend of Boyd.  The four bridesmaids were: Miss Judy Jensen, cousin of the bride, of Cedarburg; Miss Carol Debevec, cousin of the groom of Waukegan, Ill.; Miss Angie Pekol, cousin of the groom, of Neillsville; and Miss Judy Pekol, a sister of the groom of Willard.

The bestman was Stanley Pekol, Jr., brother of the groom, of Chicago, Ill.  Groomsmen were: Dick Jensen, brother of the bride, of Greenwood; Frank Pekol, Jr., cousin of the groom, of Neillsville; Ernie Pekol, brother of the groom, of Willard; and Edwin Jensen, brother of the bride, of Withee.  The flower girl was Mary Gail Zelm of Withee, who was dressed identical to the bride.

Mrs. Kenneth Phillips sang two hymns, "On This Day" and "Mother at Thy Feet is Kneeling."  She was accompanied by Mrs. Henry Lamovec on the organ.

A wedding reception was held at the West Side Hall in Willard for about 250 guests.  The hall was decorated with white wedding bells and blue streamers.

The couple is on a wedding trip to southern United States, after which they will make their home in Greenwood, where the groom is employed.  The bride is employed by the Thorp Finance Corp., in Thorp.
