Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a nylon organza over satin chapel-length gown, fashioned with embroidered Basque scoop neckline and three-quarter length sleeves, panels of embroidered organza extending down the front and into the chapel train.  Her fingertip veil was held in place by a band of pearls and rhinestones. She carried a cascade bouquet of red roses and lilies of the valley.

Maid of honor was Miss Sharon Harris, Humbird. The two bridesmaids were Miss Lynda Kuberra, Humbird, and Miss Georgeann Wathke, Eau Claire.

The groom was attended by Theodore Welke, Jr., Eau Claire, as best man, and David Marten and Richard Clark, Eau Claire.  The ushers were Vaughn Ness, Altoona and Loren Wright, Eau Claire.

Following the ceremony a 5 o’clock reception was held at the home of the bride for about 250 guests.
