Neillsville, Wisconsin (22 September 1960)

 

Miss Billy Jean Miller of Lincoln, Nebr., is attending Wisconsin State College in Eau Claire. She was a weekend guest of her grandmother, Mrs. Sylvia Kurth.

 

Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Patey, former Neillsville residents who have spent the summer at their summer home at Silver Lake, have left for their home in Phoenix, Ariz.

 

Mrs. Martha Brown has returned to Sacramento, Cal., after spending the summer with her brothers, Bill, Alfred and Arthur Dux, and with her sister, Mrs. Elsie Wells, in Greenwood.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dahnert spent the weekend with relatives in Fond du Lac.  They attended the wedding of a niece Saturday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Earl Zille and Mrs. Nick Scherer drove to Colby Monday evening, where they visited the family of the late Mrs. Tom Selves.

 

Miss Josie Bass substituted in the sixth grade at Northside School last week in the absence of Mrs. Sylvia Kurth, who was ill.

 

The Rev. Robert Schlicht, former pastor of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Globe, visited in Neillsville last week.  he as accompanied by a delegation from his church at Belle Plaine, Minn., who came to inspect St. John’s Lutheran School.  They plan to build a school at Belle Plaine.

 

Mrs. Virgil (Elaine) Lezotte has accepted employment in the meat department of a local super market.
