Loyal, Wisconsin (6 October 1960)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Weyer and family spent Sunday visiting their son, Edward, at Holy Cross seminary, La Crosse.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Roy Hales, Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn Forester, of Stanley; and Mr. and Mrs. Herman Meyer, Humbird, spent Friday in Madison. The men attended a meeting of agricultural stabilization committees.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ray McNeely and family visited with their son, Michael, at Holy Cross seminary, La Crosse, Sunday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Allen Schoonover and family and Jimmy Wheaton of Waukesha, spent the weekend at the Leonard Denk home.  Mrs. Schoonover is a daughter of the Denks.

 

Mary Beth Cowles, a student at the University of Wisconsin, spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Cowles.  Sunday guests there were Mr. and Mrs. Joseph E. Worth and son, Karl, and Mrs. Edythe Worth of Stevens Point.

 

Recent guests at the Roy Hales home were Mr. and Mrs. Jack Fulgraf of Backus, Minn.

 

Marlene Loos of Minneapolis and June Loos of Eau Claire spent the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alex Loos.

 

The women’s auxiliary of the American Legion will meet October 11 at 8 p.m. at the home of Mrs. Chester Smith.
