York Township (6 October 1960)

Clark Grange will meet at the York Town Hall October 11.

Mr. and Mrs. Julius Rennak fished on the Big Eau Pleine in Marathon County last weekend.

Mr. and Mrs. Carl Buddinger and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Pisny attended a reunion and picnic at the Mrs. Maggie Bouska home in Bangor Sunday.

Heavy frost was reported at the Joe Pisny and Lawrence DeMert farms Monday morning.  All vegetation was reported frozen.

Mrs. Joseph Fulayter of Chicago returned home Sunday after a two-week visit with Mr. and Mrs. James Nozar.  Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Bogie of Chicago spent the weekend there.

The Sew and So Homemakers club will meet at the home of Mrs. Milton Schoenfeldt October 13.

Mr. and Mrs. Ed Voigt visited Loren Hales at Memorial Hospital Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Kaudy of Greenwood, Mrs. Marie O’Connor of Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Metcalf and Mrs. Sadie Miller of York Center visited at the Kenneth Metcalf home Wednesday evening.
