Humbird, Wisconsin (13 October 1960)

 

Mrs. Laura Dignin spent from Wednesday until Friday in the Cullen Dignin home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Victor Scheibe spent Friday afternoon with Mrs. Bert Morrison at Rock Dam.

 

Mrs. Edna Taggart, Mrs. Ralph Roeber and daughter, and Mrs. Warren Works and children of Augusta spent Friday afternoon with Mrs. Park Sample.

 

Mrs. Ivan Duerkop and children spent last weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Drager, in St. Paul.

 

Ervin Kelsh went to Augusta Wednesday to spend several days with his daughter, Mrs. Bob Harden.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Holman and son of Chicago, and Mrs. Helen Hogue of Merrillan, were supper guests Tuesday of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Duerkop.

 

Mrs. Dorothy and Mrs. Yvonne Seig of Fairchild were dinner guests Monday of Mrs. Rudy Aeschbacher.  In the afternoon Mrs. Aeschbacher and guests drove to rural Hixton to visit Mrs. Glen Van Horn and Irene Dunn.

 

Walter Jenswold of Mt. Pleasant, Ia., is spending a few days with his mother, Mrs. Mary Jenswold.

 

Mrs. Lee Terrell came home Wednesday from the hospital in Black River Falls.

 

Mrs. Elgie Hardwick is now at her home here and is going to take a vacation from her work for a while.

 

Mrs. Raymond Stuve and Mrs. Eula Briggs called on Keith Briggs at Memorial Hospital at Neillsville Sunday.  He is recovering from his recent accident and will soon be home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Dick Phillips and children of Thorp visited in the Raymond Stuve home Sunday and called on Mrs. Cora Stanley.


Mr. and Mrs. George Brotin of Chetek visited her sister, Mrs. Albert Squires, Friday night. 

 

Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Larson and daughter of Pittsville visited Sunday in the A. L. Kirby home and called on Mr. and Mrs. Chet Baily.

 

Miss Judy Van Horn of Hixton is spending a few days with her aunt, Mrs. Rudy Aeschbacher.

 

Mrs. Mary Iffland of New London was a dinner guest Tuesday of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Laffe.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Will Theiler and family visited Sunday in the Will Theiler, Jr. home in rural Osseo.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Trachsel spent several days last week with Mr. and Mrs. Al Elmer and (missing words here).
