Dietz, Marjorie Ann (Marriage - 5 November 1960)

 

Marriage vows were exchanged November 5, by Miss Marjorie Ann Dietz, daughter of Fred Dietz of Granton, and John Hale Vandeberg, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Vandeberg, Rt. 2, Neillsville.

 

The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Virgil Holmes in the Methodist parsonage in Neillsville.

 

For her wedding the bride wore a light ivory brocaded street-length dress, trimmed with a satin cummerbund. A headpiece of sequins and seed pearls and black accessories completed her ensemble.  She wore a corsage of red and white ‘mums.

 

Jo Anne Vandeberg, sister of the groom was maid of honor.  Janet Rush of Black River Falls served as bridesmaid.  Victor Elmhorst of Granton, a cousin of the groom, was best man; Donald Finck of Neillsville, groomsman.

 

A reception and dinner were held at the Chris Vandeberg home. 

Mr. and Mrs. Vandeberg are residing with her father in Granton.  Mr. Vandeberg is a milk hauler.
