Hagen, Louise Helen (Marriage - 26 November 1960)

Baskets of fall flowers decorated the United Church of Christ in Neillsville for the wedding Saturday of miss Louise Helen Hagen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Hagen of Rt. 1, Greenwood, and Henry Kuester, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Kuester, of Christie. The Rev. Frank B. Harcey performed the 7 p.m. nuptial ceremony.

The bride was attired in a street-length dress of lavender velvet, fashioned with a full skirt and having a rounded neckline and elbow length sleeves.  Complementing her attire were a feather hat of lavender and a shoulder corsage of feathered chrysanthemums.

Mrs. Donald Turner of Neillsville was matron-of-honor for her sister.  She wore a street-length dress of deep purple, designed with a V-neckline and elbow length sleeves.

Russell Wold was best man.

A reception for members of the immediate families was held at the Kuester home in Christie, and in the evening a wedding dance was held in the Weston Town hall.

The bride is a 1958 graduate of Greenwood High School, and has been employed by the Rev. Mr. Harcey as secretary in the church office.  Mr. Kuester attended the Neillsville schools and at present is employed in Christie.

Mr. and Mrs. Kuester are residing on Rt. 3, Neillsville.
