Some people seem to carry the idea that the Pleasant Corner correspondent is on the retired list, but we are still in the ring. Fact of the matter is Fred Mead and Dr. Monk came prowling around here Monday night and we couldn’t get rid of them Tuesday morning until it was too late to get the mail out.
The stork passed this way Tuesday, Oct. 7th, and left a big baby girl with J.A, Pitts and wife. Mother and baby are doing nicely.
