Looker, Emma (1866? - 29 FEB 1952)

Several residents of Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.) attended funeral services for Mrs. Emma Looker at Withee on Feb. 22^nd, and will be interested in the following obituary.

Mrs. Looker, nee Emma Troverse, died at Stanley on Feb. 19^th, 1952 of old age complications at the age of 85.  She had been an invalid for the past seven years and for a time was attended by Mrs. Wm. Koszinski and Mrs. Arthur Schuette of Loyal.

Burial was made in Riverside Cemetery after services at the Withee M.E. Church.  The Rev. Leland Shaw officiated.  Pallbearers were grandsons, Dean Metzke, Norman Lang. Kenton Stewart, Emil Looker, Myron Looker and Marvin Looker.

In 1889 she was married to William Looker at Woodstock, Wis., and to this union 9 children were born.  Surviving her are the nine children, 31 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, one brother and two sisters.

Those from away attending the funeral were from Loyal, Greenwood, Unity, Colby, Madison, Viola, Woodstock, Hillsboro, Bloom City, LaValle, New Holstein, Hayward, Eau Claire, La Crosse and Wausau.
