Fremont 4-H (1 September 1938)

The Fremont 4-H Club held a meeting at the A. O. Berg home on Saturday, September 3.  The meeting was called to order by Caroline Lindow.  The minutes of the last meeting were read and accepted.  Ellen Drescher and Delmer Bartsch were absent.

Two of our members, Marise Berg and Caroline Lindow were sent to the State Fair where Marise won first in the Style show and first in judging canned goods.  Caroline won first in judging food and nutrition.  The record books were discussed and the page of information was filled out. The record books must be brought to the next meting which will be September 24, at the A. O. Berg home.

Some of the members ordered postal cards with the picture that was taken at Club Camp on it.

The treasurer’s report was read.

Caroline and Marise taught some of the songs they had learned at the State Fair Club Camp.
