Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Stacke, daughter, Dawn, and accompanied by their grandson, Patrick Brant of West Allis, went to West Allis Saturday afternoon and visited at the Peter Brant home, returning here Sunday night.  Patrick returned here to continue his stay.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Amos Miller of Rhine Center came Friday and stayed with her sister, Mrs. Ivina Miller, until Sunday.  They also visited at the Edwin Strade, Walter Baumgartner and Her Neuhaus homes.  They are all sisters and brothers.

 

Mrs. Pauline Taylor of Wis. rapids was the guest of honor at a birthday celebration the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Krause, Sunday afternoon.  There were 26 relatives in attendance, who came from Wis. Rapids, Bevent and Marshfield.  The men in the group played cards and the women played bingo during the afternoon, after which lunch was served.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Tom Hoffman and four children of Colby and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Ludwig of Medford, spend Sunday afternoon and were supper guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Hoffman.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Riderbusch visited at the Lomis Riderbusch home at Wausau, Monday afternoon.

 

Ed Hoeft was admitted to the Veterans’ hospital, Minneapolis, Sunday, and will be there for a time for tests and treatment.  Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Bitter took him there.  They stopped at Chippewa falls to get Mrs. Nick Selzner, a sister of Mr. Bitter, and then went on to Iowa Falls, Ia., to visit at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Bitter.

 

Mrs. George Lundahl underwent major surgery at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, Friday morning.  Her daughter, Grace, of Chicago, came that morning and is remaining until Wednesday night.  Mr. and Mrs. Bob Lundahl of Ripon visited her at the hospital Sunday.  Other visitors Sunday included Mrs. Hazel Wilhelmi, Ed Voss and Mr. and Mrs. George Calmes.
