Pals, Betty Lou (10 JUN 1961)

Miss Betty Lou Pals and George Tischendorf Jr. of Dorchester (Clark Co., Wis.), exchanged marriage vows in a double ring ceremony Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the First Presbyterian Church.  The Rev. L. F. Faivre performed the ceremony and Mrs. Faivre was the organist.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Pals of Abbotsford and Mr. and Mrs. George Tischendorf of Dorchester.

Attending the couple were the bride’s brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Wiskow of Milwaukee.

The bride chose a medium blue suit for her wedding.  Her matron of honor wore a light blue suit.  Both had white accessories.  Pink garnet roses and cymbidium orchids were used in the bride’s corsage and pink garnet roses were used in Mrs. Wiskow’s.

For her daughter’s wedding, Mrs. Pals was attired in a dark blue dress.  Mrs. Tischendorf wore a tan dress trimmed with brown.  Both mothers wore shoulder corsages of white and yellow chrysanthemums.

Following the ceremony, a reception for the immediate families was held at the home of the bride’s parents.

The new Mr. and Mrs. Tischendorf left on a wedding trip to northwester Wisconsin and on their return will make their home on a farm at Dorchester.
