Yach, Suzanne (2 SEP 1961)

Miss Suzanne Yach, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Yach of Stevens Point, was presented in marriage by her father at a ceremony in which she became the bride of Du Wayne Kalepp at St. Stephen’s Catholic rectory on Saturday morning at 11:30 o’clock.  The Rt. Rev. John R. McGinley officiated at the double ring service.

Mr. Kalepp’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Harold Kalepp of Abbotsford.

Attending the couple were Mr. and Mrs. David Yach of Stevens Point and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Kalepp Jr. of Abbotsford, brothers and sisters-in-law of the couple.

The bride wore a floor length long sleeved gown of white taffeta.  The bodice was designed with a scoop neckline that ended in a V in the back.  The skirt featured back fullness detailed with three flowers.  A coronet of pearls held her very full shoulder length veil.  A lavender orchid centered her bouquet of white stephanotis.

Her attendants were dressed alike in street length frocks of cotillion blue chiffon with very full skirts and shirred cummerbunds.  Their half hats of pleated organza with attached halo veils and their satin slippers matched their dresses.  They wore crystal necklaces and earrings, a gift of the bride, and carried bouquets of red roses and white carnations with white ribbon.

Mrs. Yach wore a gold colored dress with green accessories to her daughter’s wedding.  Mrs. Kalepp had a blue brocaded dress and white accessories.  Both mothers had corsages of gardenias.

White carnation corsages were worn by Mrs. M. C. Bunnell and Mrs. Adolph Kalepp, grandmothers of the groom.

After the ceremony, dinner was served at the Sky Club and a reception was held at the Red Rooster.

Mr. and Mrs. Kalepp left on a wedding trip to the southern part of the state and are now at home to friends at their home on Fourth Street in Abbotsford.

The bride, a graduate of Central State College at Stevens Point, teaches fourth grade at the Madison School in Marshfield.  Her husband is employed at Duke’s Bowl in Abbotsford.

Guests at the wedding were from Abbotsford, Colby, Dorchester, Shawano, Manawa, Tomahawk and Stevens Point.
