Pankow, Carl Frederick (? –7 February 1961)

Funeral services were held Saturday from the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home in Owen for Carl Frederick Pankow, 76, who died in a Marshfield hospital February 7, of a heart attack. The Rev. Ralph Claybaugh, pastor of the Congregational Church, was in charge, and burial was made in Riverside Cemetery at Withee.

Mr. Pankow, who had been a successful dairy farmer in the Town of Hixon, retired in 1948.  He came to Clark County from Minneapolis, Minn., in 1912.

He was married to Mary Bingham on May 27, 1945, in Medford. She survives, as do two nieces and a nephew: Mrs. Arlie (Martha) Melbinger, of North Riverside, Ill., Mrs. Helen Cavalerl of Waukesha; and Louis Stack of Kewaskum.
