Hathaway, Peggy Lou (5 SEP 1962)

 

Miss Peggy Lou Hathaway, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hathaway, Chester, Ill., and Arian John Busse, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Busse, Abbotsford, were married Wednesday, Sept. 5, 1962 at Our Savior Lutheran Church at Springfield, Mo.

 

The Rev. R.A.  Hask officiated at the four o’clock rites.

 

The bride chose a blue suit with white accessories and a corsage of white carnations for her ensemble.

 

Attending her as matron of honor was Mrs. Gordon Kloehn of St. Louis, Mo., a cousin of the groom.  She wore a white and old sheath dress with white accessories and a corsage of light blue carnations.

 

Mr. Kloehn served as best man.

 

Following the ceremonies, a supper was held at the Old Luxemburg Inn at Springfield.

 

The bride is a 1961 graduate from the Dorchester High School and was employed as a nurses’ aid at the Chester Hospital.

 

The groom graduated from the Dorchester High School in 1952 and is in his last year of study at Concordia Seminary, Springfield.

 

After a wedding trip in southern, Ill., the young couple will be at home at 2021 Clearlake, Springfield.
