Pleasant Ridge (16 March 1961)
The Pleasant Ridge Homemakers will meet this (Thursday) afternoon at the home of Mrs. Clarion Counsell.
Mrs. Roy Suckow was hostess to the Women’s Society of Christian Service of the Pleasant Ridge Methodist Church last Thursday; Mrs. Genevieve Hantke had charge of the program.
Sunday visitors at the Clarion Counsell home were Mr. and Mrs. Milford Rowe and son, Town of York; and the Leander Olia family of Osseo.
The Kurth School closed Monday noon to allow the pupils to return home before the roads became blocked due to the snow storm.
Jerry Foote spent Sunday with Richard Lawson.
Sunday Guests at the Walter Larsen home were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Chadwick and family, Greenwood and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Meihack of Neillsville.
Mr. and Mrs. Clarion Counsell visited Sunday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Blackman.
