Levis  Township (22 Jan 1914)

 

Mrs. Wm. Deubel and sons, Willie and Herbert, returned to Chicago Saturday after a several weeks’ visit here.

 

A. Michalski and wife spent Wednesday evening of last week with T. Paulaczyk and family.

 

Miss Jolinette visited at the home of Wm. Rath Sunday.

 

Oscar Keller returned Thursday from a three weeks’ visit in Jefferson and Walworth Counties.

 

Geo. Frey and wife visited F. Eggeman Wednesday and Thursday of last week.  Mrs. Eggeman returned with them for a short visit.

 

There was a party at Liskow’s Friday evening.

 

Mrs. Pscheidt was called to Menasha Saturday by the death of her aunt.

 

Mrs. J. Varney and children left last Wednesday for Chicago, where they will make their home.

 

Lulu Richmond visited Hannah Turville of Christie Saturday and Sunday.

 

J. Epding and wife spent Sunday evening with Chas. Daehnert and family.

 

Agnes and Paul Schroeder of Neillsville visited H. Blum and family Saturday and Sunday.

 

Friends of J. Gilbertson and wife surprised them Thursday evening.  Games were played and refreshments served.  All had a very pleasant evening.

 

Mrs. Munson received slips of various California plants from Mrs. Hutchings this week.

 

Albert Meyer retuned Friday from Athens where he has been working in the woods.

 

Johanna Blum attended the funeral of Mrs. Wm. Montgomery Sunday afternoon.

 

J. Frey and wife called at M. Keller’s Sunday.
