Bredlau, Emil A. (7 April 1889 - 20 May 1961)

 

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday from the Myre Funeral Home in Loyal for Emil A. Bredlau, 72, of Rt. 2 Spencer, who died May 20, of cancer.  He had been confined to the hospital in Neillsville for several weeks.

 

Ralph Johnson, a lay speaker of Eau Claire, performed the funeral rites, and burial was made in the Loyal Cemetery.

 

A native of Clark County, Mr. Bredlau was born April 7, 1889, and had farmed all his life in the Loyal area.  He was married to Marie Bleuer on June 5, 1917, in West Bend, Ia.

 

He is survived by his widow and by four sons and six daughters: Mrs. Gerhardt (Emily) Lucht of Rt. 2, Spencer; Mrs. Edwin (Lucille) Wirtz of Mallard, Ia.; Mrs. Donald (Esther) Frederich of Marshfield; Mrs. Joseph (Dorothy) Lauby, of Denver, Colo.; Mrs. Ed (Arlene) Barker and Pat Bredlau, both of Madison; Robert Bredlau of Owen; Gerald of Milwaukee; and John of Manistique, Mich.
