Following a honeymoon trip through the western states, Mr. and Mrs. Irban Aumann will be at home to Friends in South Bend, Indiana. They were married in St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Loyal, at 8:30 a.m., Monday, June 1. The Rev. Edward Aumann, uncle of the groom, officiated.


The bride, the former Leona Bentzler, Loyal, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Bentzler, and the groom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Henry Aumann, Sr., also of Loyal.


The Bride’s gown was made of a satin underskirt and net and lace overskirt extending into a train. She wore a finger-tip veil and carried red roses and white carnations.


Miss Darlene Bentzler, South Bend, was her sister’s maid of honor. She wore a strapless mint green formal, with net over a taffeta underskirt, and carried yellow roses and white carnations.


Mrs. Garland Bentzler, South Bend, sister of the groom, and Mrs. Louis Aumann, Milwaukee, sister-in-law of the groom, were bridesmaids. (Mrs. Bentzler wore a yellow formal and Mrs. Aumann an orchid formal) Their gowns were styled similarly to that of the maid of honor and they carried similar bouquets.


Donald Bentzler, South Bend, brother of the bride, was best man. Garland Bentzler, South Bend, also a brother of the bride, and Louis Aumann, Milwaukee, brother of the groom were groomsmen.


Edward Bentzler, Loyal, brother of the bride, and Henry Aumann, Jr., Loyal, brother of the groom, ushered.


Breakfast was served at the home of the groom’s parents, and a dinner and reception were given in St. Anthony’s church hall.


The bride attended Loyal High School and the groom is a graduate of the Loyal High School.


The groom is employed at the Studebaker Corporation in South Bend, Indiana.


Guests were in attendance from South Bend, Indiana; Shawno, Hartford, Neillsville, Greenwood, Marshfield, Milwaukee, Delavan, and City Point.
