Linrekugel, Martha  (11 AUG 1886-10 JUNE 1953)

 

Mrs. Martha Jane Lindekugel died at the Clark County Hospital at Owen Wednesday, June 10, death following a lingering illness.

 

Mrs.Lindekugel (nee Martha Mons) was born at Green Island, New York, August 11, 1886. She was married to Frank Lindekugel, February 20, 1913, at Green Island.

 

Following her marriage she came with her husband to Clark County. They lived on a farm near Loyal for several years after which they moved into the city. Her husband died February 23, 1951.

 

Funeral services were held in Trinity Lutheran Church, Saturday, June 13, at 2 P.M. with the Rev. E. E. Aalto officiating. Burial was in the Lutheran Cemetery.

 

Mrs. Romaine Rossow sang "Asleep in Jesus" and "In the Garden". Dorothy Capelle was accompanist.

 

Pall bearers were Philip Capelle, John Habbegger, Otto Lemke, Julius Ehlert, Alfred Oestreich, and Gust Voight.

 

Mrs. Lindekugel is survived by one son Harold, of Neillsville, and one daughter, Mrs. Reuben (Ruth) Litka, Loyal. Four grandchildren survive and two sisters, Mrs, Edith Carlo and Mrs. Anna Mattice, New York.

 

Those from away who attended the funeral services were Mr. and mrs. Walter Lindekugel and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Trachte, Neillsville; Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Dahl and family, Granton; Mrs. Martha Trachte and Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Lindekugel, Marshfield; Mrs. Dan Brandt, Pittsville; and Mr. and Mrs.Adolph uther, Spencer.
