Nikula, Mrs. Juanita G. (Marriage - 17 June 1961)

Wedding vows were exchanged June 17, in the Randolph Methodist Church uniting in marriage Mrs. Juanita G. Nikula of Randolph, and Glenn Haines of Neillsville.  The Rev. Veryl Schubert read the nuptial ceremony for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Lietz, Sparta and the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Haines, Neillsville.

White gladioli and white daisies adorned the altar for the double ring ceremony as Mrs. Charles Gilmore, Jr., sang "O Perfect Love" and "The Lord’s Prayer", accompanied by Mrs. Charles Gilmore, Sr.  The organist was Keith Gardner of Granton, nephew of the groom.

The bride wore a blue sheath dress with a nylon overskirt.  Her white floral headpiece held her shoulder-length veil. Her maid of honor, Miss Marilyn Vander Velde, was attired in a white gown with the skirt and bodice embroidered with yellow daisies.  Wayne Gardner, Granton, served his uncle as best man.

A reception immediately following the ceremony was held in the Hutchinson Memorial Library.

Mrs. Haines has taught home economics in the Randolph High School for the last eight years. The groom is engaged in farming and also works in Marshfield.  After a wedding trip to Northern Wisconsin, upper Michigan and Niagara Falls, the couple will reside on a farm near Neillsville.
