Archie Dale Lyon, 598, of Riplinger, former Greenwood resident, died July 16 at Milwaukee County Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Lyon had visited relatives in Racine and were starting on their return trip to Riplinger, when he suffered a heart attack and died shortly after.

He is survived by his wife; three sons, Harold of Sparta, and William and Gerald of Riplinger; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from the Hill Funeral Home in Greenwood. The Rev. Orval Egbert, pastor of the United Church, officiated.  Burial was made in the Greenwood Cemetery.

Miss Nettie Miller sang, "Face to Face" and "Sometime we’ll Understand," accompanied on the organ by Mrs. Daniel Olson.

Pallbearers were Fred Behrens, Don Warner, William Bigges, Charles Shymanski, Walter Schuette and John Widmar.
