Bradshaw, Hester (28 JUN 1928)

Very pretty in its simplicity was the wedding at the home of the bride in Reseburg, Clark County, Wis., Thursday afternoon, June 28, 1928, at 2:30 o'clock, which united Miss Hester Bradshaw, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. Bradshaw of Reseburg, and Chester Glasshof, son of Mr. Fred Glasshof of Thorp. The Rev. Bennetts of Thorp officiated at the ceremony.

The bride was lovely in a gown of white embroidered satin and lace. She carried a shower bouquet of pink and white roses and baby's breath with ferns. Miss Evelyn Glasshof, cousin of the groom, acted as bridesmaid and wore blues silk taffeta and carried a bouquet of roses and baby's breath with ferns. The groom was attended by Claude Bradshaw, brother of the bride.

Following the ceremony, a 5 o'clock dinner was served with covers laid for 26 guests. Miss Mary Buss, Miss Eunice Whold and Miss Dorothy Glasshof acted as waitresses.

The home was decorated in a color scheme of pink and white.

A reception was held at the home in the evening to over 300 guests.

Many lovely presents were received by the happy couple.

Mr. and Mrs. Glasshof left on a two week motor trip through Illinois and Nebraska. Upon their return they will reside in Thorp.
