A pretty wedding was solemnized at the Methodist Episcopal Church at eleven o'clock Tuesday forenoon when Miss Madeline Page, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. N. Page, Stanley, and August A. Kuehl, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Kuehl, Thorp, Clark County, Wis., were married by Rev. J. B. Johnson, Stanley. Miss Agnes Kuehl, sister of the groom, was bridesmaid, and Mr. Chester Glasshof was best man. The double ring ceremony was used. Miss Grace Gannett played the "Lohengrin" wedding march. The bride was dressed in rose orchid georgette and Miss Kuehl wore a pink crepe and bother carried a bouquet of roses and sweet peas. Many relatives and friends attended the ceremony, including guests from Kansas City, Chicago, St. Paul, Poynette, lake Mills, Granton and Greenwood. After the services nearly eight were present a a wedding dinner served in the church basement. The bride and groom will take a week's wedding trip through Iowa and Minnesota, and will be at home to their friends after the first of July at Thorp, where Mr. Kuehl is local manager of Crane's Elevator. "The Courier" extends hearty congratulations.
