Awe, Louisa (21 August 1887 - 2 October 1961)

 

Mrs. Louisa Awe, 64, died Monday at her home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday from the Immanuel United Church.  Burial will be made in the parish cemetery. The Rev. Orval Egbert will officiate.

 

Mrs. Awe was born August 21, 1887, in the Town of Hoard.  Her maiden name was Louisa Voightlander.  She was married to William Awe, December 13, 1923. After their marriage they settled in the Town of Green Grove on Rt. 1, Owen.

 

She was a member of Immanuel Church and the Women’s Guild. Her husband died June 25, 1957.

 

Surviving are two sons, Calvin of Owen and Arnold at home; a foster daughter, Mrs. Harry (Irmgard) Meinholdt of Greenwood; five grandchildren; a sister, Miss Lillian Voightlander, living at the Awe home; and two brothers, Elmer of Medford and Henry of Abbotsford.
