Humbird (12 October 1961)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Danny Wallace and children visited Sunday in the home of Mrs. Dorothy Wallace in Neillsville.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Cullen Dignin, with Mrs. Laura Dignin of Neillsville, enjoyed a drive Sunday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Pierce of Two Rivers were weekend visitors of relatives here and in Neillsville.

 

Ed Noyes, Jr., is home from the hospital, where he had surgery.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Perle Pickett, with Mr. and Mrs. Vern Bopp of Alma Center and Mr. and Mrs. Glen Van Horn of rural Hixton, enjoyed a picnic at Lake Eau Claire Sunday. 

 

Frank Krosinski and boys were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Chet Baily Friday evening in honor of Scott’s 12th birthday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Thompson of La Crosse were guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Sheffer.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ed Riley of Chippewa Falls were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Greub.

 

Mrs. Merle Aebersold, 79, died Thursday night in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Herman Gerber, after a short illness.  Funeral services were held Sunday from St. John’s Church in Humbird.  Rev. Carl Serr officiated.

 

Hugh Terrell called at the Oswald Micheal home Sunday to see his sister.
