Handt, Herman A. (10 December 1880 - 8 October 1961)
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from the Gilbertson Funeral Home in Granton for Herman A. Handt, 80, Rt. 2 Granton, who died Sunday in Neillsville. He had been ill for seven weeks. The Rev. L. E. Schreiber officiated. Burial was made in Windfall Cemetery.
Mr. Handt was born December 10, 1880, in the Town of Grant. He received his education in that township and on May 10, 1916 was married to the former Minnie Dietrich in Granton. The family farmed in the Town of Grant.
He is survived by two sons, John and Everett, both of the Town of Grant; and three sisters: Mrs. Louise Schlinsog, Granton; Mrs. Anna Cavallo, Buffalo, N. Y.; and Mrs. Selma Hulse, Rathdrum, Colo.
Pallbearers were Wesley Kuehn, Harold Dudei, Leonard Schultz, Clarence Braatz, Harold and Steve Schlinsog.
