Merrillan, Wisconsin (9 November 1961)


Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Mattson visited the Stanley Erickson family at West Salem, Thursday.


Mr. and Mrs. Erich Motte, Dawn and Dennis, spent from Wednesday through Friday in Rhinelander with the Bud Gjerseth family.


Mrs. Jerry Walton visited friends in Madison Thursday and Friday while Jerry attended a teacher’s convention in Milwaukee.


Mr. and Mrs. Harry Thompson were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Babcock in Black River Falls.


Misses Clara Knutson and Edna Nylen of Minneapolis visited few days at the Louis Magnuson home.


Virgil McCauley of Richland Center is spending this week with the Jerry Walton family.


Harry Thompson and Helmer Gjerseth were in Blair Saturday.


The Rev. and Mrs. Gordon Johnson and Melody of Black River Falls were Sunday afternoon and supper guests at the George Gjerseth home.


Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Sherman of Wisconsin Rapids were Friday afternoon guests of Mrs. Leslie Sherman.


Mrs. Evelyn Fisher of California spent two weeks with her mother, Mrs. Adolph Thompson.


Clarence Gaede came home from a Madison hospital for a few days and is gaining some.


Mr. and Mrs. Orvis Burnett were Sunday afternoon guests of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Gearing and Mrs. Adolph Thompson.


Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Lundquist of Minneapolis were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Hagen.

Mrs. Delano Anderson and boys of Poynette spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Frand.  Sunday they all were dinner guests of the Bill Frank family in Neillsville.


Mrs. Gene Atkinson and children and Mrs. John Gard are spending a few days visiting relatives in Milwaukee.
