Rajk, Frank (15 July 1884 - 3 January 1962)
Frank Rajk, 77, of Greenwood, died suddenly January 3 at the Central Hotel in Greenwood, where he had resided the last four years.
Mr. Rajk was born July 15, 1884, in Yugoslavia and came to the United States in 1902. He was married to Antonia Primc on October 25, 1906, in Cleveland, O. She died November 30, 1955.
After their marriage they lived in Silver Spring, N. Y., until 1909, when they moved to Sheboygan. They came to Greenwood in 1920 and settled on a farm three miles northwest of here, now occupied by the Selvian Krultz family. He retired from farming in 1943. For several years he operated Ed’s Tavern in Greenwood.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Lloyd (Josephine) Peterson of Greenwood; two sons, Joseph of Superior and Louis of Willard; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were held January 6, from the Hill Funeral Home. The Rev. Gene Carlson of Grace Methodist Church officiated. Burial was made in the Greenwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Fred Behrens, Tony Trunkel, Matt Bombach, Louis Kebl, Edward Gregorich and George Stark.
Two granddaughters, Mrs. Wayne Voss and Mrs. Kent Harbour sang "Nearer My God to Thee" and "In the Garden" accompanied at the organ by Miss (the balance of the obit was missing on my copy).
