Rauscher, Jacqueline (31 AUG 1958)

Marriage vows were exchanged at 3:30 in the afternoon of Sunday, Aug. 31, 1958, in Olivet Presbyterian Church at Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  By Miss Jacqueline Lee Rauscher, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John F. Rauscher of Cedar Rapids, and John Richard Andersen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dan B. Andersen of Owen.

The Rev. William E. Pfeffer officiated.  Mrs. Bill Donnan, organist, accompanied the vocalist, Bruce Trimble.

The fitted bodice of the bride’s gown of silk organza over taffeta was styled with short shirred sleeves and a Sabina neckline bordered in lace appliques, which were repeated at the front waistline.  A back bustle accented the bouffant skirt.  A lace shell highlighted with pearls held the bride’s blusher veil, and she carried white gladiolus, roses and stephanotis.

Miss Linda Lou Rauscher was her sister’s maid of honor.  Miss Anita J. Andersen, the bridegroom’s sister, and Miss Kay M. Bruzek of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, were bridesmaids.

Arthur Andersen was his brother’s best man.  Richard Hubbard of Springfield, Neb. and Charles Blank of Emreson Iowa, were groomsmen, and Gary J. Clemens ushered.

Kathy Ann Rauscher and Alice J. Andersen, sisters of the couple, were flower girls.

A reception as given in the church parlors.

Following a trip to the Ozarks, the couple will make their home at Ames, Iowa.  The bride is a home economics junior and the groom is a senior in Veterinary Medicine at Iowa State College.
